2011 Breeding Season The season is ticking along nicely. We had 5 mares served on the 1st of September with 4 of them getting in foal. GREAT RESULT! We have had 7 foals born. 2 filly’s by Churchill downs, a colt by Hard Spun, a colt by Keep The Faith, a filly by Old Deuteronomy, a colt by Amadeus Wolf and a standard bred by Safari. All are developing and growing well. Our new foaling down facility is finished and running. It consists of 2 small foaling paddocks either side of an extremely large covered, rubber lined box. Mares are ideally foaled down in the paddocks to keep things as natural as possible however in bad weather the box is available. The box is also used if the foal or mare are not 100% after foaling as a hospital facility. The paddocks are green and the property is currently looking great. You are encouraged to visit to see your horses and tour the farm.
